Welcome to the first issue of UX Auctions Magazine.

For more than forty years, I have worked in and around government surplus, fleet operations, automotive remarketing, public auctions, and the online auction industry. During that time, I have watched the auction business change dramatically.

What has not changed is the value of knowing what you are looking at before you bid.

That is what this magazine is about.

Each month, we will bring together interesting auctions, unusual finds, industry stories, vehicles, equipment, real estate, government surplus, and the people behind the auction business.

In this first issue, you'll find everything from the wrecked Camaro that helped start the UX story to military vehicles, heavy equipment, police cars, foreclosures, and government boats.

Some stories are about what is coming up for auction. Others come from decades of firsthand experience buying, selling, rebuilding, and working around these assets.

Our goal is simple: make the auction world more interesting, easier to understand, and easier to explore.

Thank you for reading our first issue and for being part of the UX community.

We are just getting started.
