From a Wrecked FHP Camaro to the UX Auctions Ecosystem
How a conversation at a Monday morning dealer auction turned one simple search idea into an interconnected auction network.
The former Florida Highway Patrol Camaro after being purchased at auction, showing the extensive right-rear collision damage before the rebuild.
This old FHP Camaro has a little more meaning to us these days.
These pictures are from one of our past rebuilds—a Florida Highway Patrol Camaro hit hard in to the right rear. We won it at auction and rebuilt it back specs. It was a fun build and something we're proud of.
That's the world we know. We have spent most of our lives buying, selling, repairing these vehicles.
At our regular Monday morning Manheim auction, we were talking about how frustrating it was to find government auctions online. We were used to the dealer auction world, where you could search inventory from all over the country and find what you were looking for.
Why couldn't we do that with government auctions?
We decided we'd try building our own search tool with one of the new AI website builders that is all over social media. How did we do.........Crashed and Burned. Internet technology was definitely not us!
We hired a group of technicians and explained what we wanted: one search tool capable of finding government auctions from across the country. They built it and it worked great! We even named it the Kick Ask™ Search Engine. Other dealerships started using it but they said it needs to be online... so we asked our techs to build a site. What they ended up building is Incredible!
We formed a partnership of automotive professionals with one standing rule.
Make the Auction World Accessible and 100% Free for Everyone!
That is when UX LLC was born.
We're not internet technicians, but we do know how to run businesses. We took what we knew about auctions, vehicles, customers and building businesses and started applying that experience to what the tech team was creating.
After forming and utilizing strategic partnerships we built UXAuctions.com around search technology. Then we built the UX Auctions News Network because with so many automotive professionals involved we all contributed real world auction information, news and original content including a monthly digital auction magazine.
From there came our dedicated search site UXSearch.app. Home to our Google/Kick Ask™ Hybrid Search Engine. Then came our Professional Email Service, UXMail.app that unlocks the Entire UX Ecosystem. The center of it all is the Fully Programmable Dashboard that has research tools, buying guides and original articles based on real experience from professionals who have spent decades in the auction world.
Somewhere along the way, our search tool we couldn't build ourselves became an entire UX (User Experience) Ecosystem of interconnected sites and services under UX LLC.
We knew the auction and business side. We hired people who knew the technology side, combined the two, and kept building to make All Auctions better and more accessible for everyone.
A little over a year later, we're right on schedule to Launch this Labor Day, September 7, 2026.
