Federal Fleet Auctions
GSA Fleet Auctions About 155 Federal Vehicles in 14 Cities on November 4, 2026, From Rockford, Illinois, to Ogden, Utah: Dodge Chargers, Chevy Tahoes, Ford Explorers and Durangos. Since May, GSA Sold 2019 Chargers at a Middle Price of $13,250 and 2018 Explorers at $12,550.
The federal government auctions about 155 of its retired fleet vehicles at 14 auction houses on Wednesday, November 4, and the lineup reads like a list of the trucks and SUVs buyers ask for most: 2019 Dodge Chargers, Chevy Tahoes from 2017 to 2021, Ford Explorers from 2017 to 2024, Durangos, F-250s and F-350s. Since May 6, GSA has sold 57 Chargers from 2019 at a middle price of $13,250, 76 Explorers from 2018 at $12,550 and 43 Tahoes from 2018 at $18,550, and every one of those buyers paid no buyer's fee.
WASHINGTON — The U.S. General Services Administration runs the federal government's motor pool, leasing cars and trucks to agencies across the country, and when a lease ends after three to five years the vehicle goes to auction. GSA describes them as well maintained, detailed before the sale and coming with low miles and one previous owner, and its sales charge buyers no fee on top of the winning bid, which is a big part of why dealers and private buyers watch the GSA calendar every week.
This Wednesday is one of the busiest days of the fall. At 11 a.m. Eastern, 125 GSA vehicles are being auctioned at 13 auction houses, which is 10 a.m. Central and 9 a.m. Mountain: 25 in Ogden, Utah, 15 each in Commerce City, Colorado, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, 13 each in Corpus Christi and El Paso, Texas, 10 in Colorado Springs, eight each in Albuquerque, Florence, Texas, and Rosharon, Texas, three each in Greenwood and New Orleans, Louisiana, and two each in Billings, Montana, and Delta, Colorado. Two and a half hours later, at 12:30 p.m. Central, 30 more are being auctioned at Greater Rockford Auto Auction in Rockford, Illinois, with sedans, passenger vans and four-wheel-drive SUVs from Ford, Chevrolet, Hyundai and Nissan.

The Chargers
Six Dodge Chargers are in Wednesday's sales, the full-size sedan federal agencies have driven for years. Five are 2019s, two in Florence, Texas, and one each in Rosharon, Texas, Ogden, Utah, and El Paso, Texas, and a 2018 is being auctioned in Rosharon. GSA's own results show what they bring: 57 Chargers from 2019 have sold since May 6 at a middle price of $13,250, and 17 from 2018 at $13,125. Two sold just this Monday, a 2019 with 48,146 miles for $12,200 in Yorktown, Virginia, and a 2018 with 61,708 miles for $9,400 in Elkton, Maryland.

The Tahoes
Six Chevy Tahoes cross the block Wednesday, three of them in Rockford. Rockford has a silver 2018 with running boards, a black 2019 and a 2017, Commerce City, Colorado, has a 2017, Greenwood, Louisiana, has a 2018, and Ogden has a white 2021, the newest Tahoe of the day. Since May, GSA has sold 43 Tahoes from 2018 at a middle price of $18,550 and 23 from 2017 at $19,600, and recent sales show how low the miles run, with a 2017 bringing $19,600 with 55,965 miles in Puyallup, Washington, and a 2018 bringing $13,500 with 62,260 miles in Eugene, Oregon.

The Explorers and Durangos
Six Ford Explorers are being auctioned Wednesday across five cities. Rockford has two white 2017 Police Interceptor Utility models, Billings and Commerce City each have a 2018, Delta, Colorado, has a 2021, and Rosharon, Texas, has a 2024, among the newest vehicles in the whole sale. The work trucks
The pickups are the heart of the Texas and Rocky Mountain sales. Corpus Christi alone has five 2018 Ford F-250s and three 2018 F-350s, and the day's list also includes F-250s from 2016 to 2022 in El Paso, Ogden, Lennox, South Dakota, and Colorado Springs, a 2023 RAM 3500 in Rosharon, a 2020 RAM 3500 in Colorado Springs, RAM 1500s in Ogden, Commerce City, Billings, Tulsa and Lennox, and a 2024 Nissan Titan in Albuquerque. GSA has sold 33 F-250s from 2018 since May at a middle price of $22,900, and a 2018 F-250 with 30,375 miles brought $28,100 in Providence, Rhode Island, this Monday.
The days on either side
Wednesday is the middle of a full GSA week. On Tuesday, November 3, GSA vehicles are being auctioned at auction houses in Belleville and Flint, Michigan, Grove City, Ohio, Macon, Georgia, Moss Point, Mississippi, and Saint Paul, Minnesota, at 10 a.m. Eastern, and 87 vehicles in Honolulu at 3 p.m. Eastern. On Thursday, November 5, the West Coast takes its turn at 1 p.m. Eastern, with sales in Bay Point, Fontana, Hesperia, San Diego and Santa Clarita, California, Las Vegas, Portland and Eugene, Oregon, and Puyallup, Washington.
How to buy from GSA Fleet
Every vehicle is listed on the GSA Fleet Marketplace with its photos, VIN, the auction house where it is being auctioned and the sale time, and buyers bid at that auction house, in person or online where the house offers it. Anyone 18 or older can bid, and that includes employees of other government agencies unless their own agency says otherwise. GSA charges no buyer's fee, website access and sale alerts are free, and GSA's bidding guide on the marketplace walks a first-time buyer through registering and bidding.
